| Aciphex (Rabeprazole) is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD or heartburn), erosive esophagitis, or Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Aciphex works by blocking acid production in the stomach. Aciphex begins reducing acid within an hour of administration.
